Mangamala is traditional jewellery of Kerala. This ethnic design jewelry is very popular among South Indian ladies. Mango shaped pieces are linked together to form beautiful long chain. This can aslo be used as fashion jewelry ornament. This is very long and suitable for adults. The running length of this maala is about 27 inches !!!
When you wear it, the length of this long chain from neck to bottom is about 14 inches (from the top end of the pearl chain to the bottom end of the locket/pathakkam). The length can be increased to another 4~6 inches by adjusting the thread.
